Your references can open the door to new opportunities — but too often, you’re unable to provide them easily.
To protect both you and the requestors:
You will not see the contents of the reference letter unless the reference provider chooses to share it with you.
Reference letters will not be provided to any organization without your authorization.
Submitting reference letter(s) comes at no cost to the candidate.
To submit a reference request, please email request@columset.com.
In your email, please include:
Your full name and contact information;
Your reference provider’s name and email address;
The organization(s) (and relevant position, if applicable) authorized to receive the applicable reference letter(s) - please denote "all" if it is is not exclusive; and
The date you would like the reference(s) to expire.
We will send you confirmation once your reference letter(s) are submitted for you to note on your applications and/or resumes with relevant identification numbers for the respective reference. Turnaround time may vary. Our goal is to have an email out to your reference provider within two (2) business days of request.
Comprehension
Columset evaluates candidates’ comprehension skills as they relate to public safety and risk awareness. Columset conducts these assessments independently — helping reduce internal organizational bias.
The Basics:
Before your formal screening, Columset performs language comprehension screening.
Note: For organizations that require Columset verification, all processes strictly adhere to local, state and federal laws and regulations. Importantly, Columset neither collects nor displays information related to race, ethnicity, or religion. Any such will be removed before results are shared with the respective organizations.
Confirmation
Candidates commitment to success outside the workplace often mirrors their commitment to careers and personal development. Columset provides a platform where candidates can showcase this commitment by submitting data points such as credit scores, proof of on-time rent or loan payments, minimum bank account balance, and confirmations of positive tenant histories (e.g., no complaints from fellow tenants/landlords).
